He just makes people smile.

Today on the way to work in the underground train I was watching a Maiden gig on iPad, as usual. This time it was a couple of songs from Roskilde 1991, when everyone had loads of energy and Jan was just like a whirlwind on stage. Now, the iPad has a very reflective screen and I can always see people who look over my shoulder to see what's there. Some just throw a quick glance, some stare for quite a long time. Well, this time I saw a guy who started smiling very broadly when Janick started acting just a bit over the top :) Of course, I'm always smiling as well when I see Jan, so it's nice to know that not only my mood was improved by this awesome guitarist this cold morning, but someone else's as well :)



And one highlight about the gig: Jan span his guitar counterclockwise there! While usually he does it over his right shoulder. Quite unusual :D
